Forums - Sony - VITA has virtually ZERO Exclusive Third Party games announced for next year!

Kresnik said:

Valhalla Knights 3 + Senran Kagura as you mentioned.

A very poor showing indeed, but not quite ZERO !

I agree it's a problem for Vita though, indeed.  There's too much up in the air with it at the moment.

edit: btw, your second link doesn't lead anywhere really.  Just the front page of gamefaqs.

You're right, I thought that VK3 was a port of the Wii VK game (since it's the third in the series), but I don't think so (good for Vita!), now that I'm checking. But that's why I put virtually zero. Not zero, but really, almost.

The second link is wrong, but also is not, since it's gamefaqs (probably the best site for upcoming games). I just missed linking to Vita's schedule page. I'll fix it.

They do. Vita's competitor has lots of them - including some market disruptors.

And Soul Sacrifice is first party (the only real wild card in vita's line up, imo. Huge responsibility)

Sony said there are a lot of unannounced titles for vita so this is not true

Yeah so  announcing  something unannounced to hide the lack of games  really seems believable.  You know some companies just say stuff so they dont lose potential customers when they struggle. I am not saying Sony is saying BS now I just want to point out that your argument makes no sense at all.

Remember Bill Clinton "I NEVER HAD SEX WITH THIS WOMAN"  ? Just saying

Either Sony in this particular case is stupid because they lie about their handheld. Or they are stupid because they have a ton of potential hits coming and dont mention them at all.

I mean even Nintendo announced Smash Bros WiiU/3ds before development even started etc. And even Sony announced the Last Guardian years before it came out  whoops its not out yet lol    but thats also better than  just waiting for all that negative press and not doing anything.

Haven't they announced a sequel for Gravity Rush?

Please excuse my bad English.

No, just a subtle hint from the dev ("working on the next project"). Either way, I doubt it'll be 2013 and it's first party anyway.

I think vita will be successful as hardware but software is likely to end the same way it did as psp.

One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D

A quick look at my wish list and everything seems to be on more than one system at least!

What 3rd party exclusives we have for the 3DS/PS3/360 next year. Just highlight the important ones to make the list short.

Hopefully the Vita will have more 3rd party games announced for next year (Don't care if the have to be exclusive),

and I'm still looking forward to the WW releases for the Japanese titles like (YS: Sea of trees, Special reporting Division and

Earth Defense Force)

I swear you had put 'zero' without the virtually part when I made the comment, but maybe I'm just seeing things :)

Also, I remembered another one - Monster Monpiece:

Nothing special, though.  Valhalla Knights is probably the biggest third-party 'exclusive' next year, unless Senran Kagura teams up with AKB 1 and attracts a certain crowd of people :P

They're going to have to hope that God Eater 2 & Soul Sacrifice do a lot of leg-work next year, in any case.
