Thought I would start a thread for FIFA 13 on the Wii U, I'm looking forward to this and will probably be getting it for christmas as money is tight, I'll be playing with the game pad I think as I'm looking forward to doing my tactics and subs straight off the game pad without having to pause the game and seeing live stats as the game is playing, I will probably look at what pro evo has to offer but probably won't get pro evo if they leave out the option to play with the wii-mote and nunchuk. http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/43114/fifa-13-screenshots-show-wii-u-improvements/

Who else is planning on buying FIFA 13 for wii u? And will you be playing with the game pad or pro controller.

It's been a while since I played Fifa (or any sports game), and the way they are using the controller is interesting.

Too bad I don't plan to buy the console at launch.

I've not owned a FIFA game since the ps2, I loved pes on wii due to the controls to me the wii-mote and nunchuk was addicting, will be nice to have licensed teams again, played it on the ps3 the other day and loved it, interested to see what manager mode has to offer.

As I said in thee other thread, until I see what the PES guys are doing, I am going to wait. PES on Wii was the best simulation sports series ever (HD consoles, what?) so I am eager to find out where their creative minds are headed next.

I agree but the guys that made the Wii PES games were not the main team, because those were busy breaking improving the game for the HD twins and couldn't lose their time with a version for Nintendo's console.

But now, the main team can make the WiiU game because the most of the assets can be shared among the HD twins and WiiU. So the big question is if the PES game will be make by the main team or by the ones that did the Wii ones.

Anyway, Konami said that there would be no PES this year/season, so the fight will be between Fifa 14 and PES 2014.
