Forums - Gaming - iOS wins (?) another one: Nihilistic software is no more

they never had the chance to make a really good game due to time constraints etc, so maybe this is the best thing for them. I think we can all agree that COD vita will have a few buyers but no legs which will lead to no growth in install base for vita relating to this game but hoping im wrong.

Implying cod casuals know who makes their games

Good riddance

So this is the fourth Sony team/Sony contracted team that does a Vita game and after that, closes. Vita kills Sony developers confirmed.

They aren't closing, they're changing their name and moving onto different platforms.

You know that's an euphemism. They are abandoning the retail market for the mobile and freemium market, they are mostly dead now as a developer.

They have never been a good game studio anyway so it's a positive for the industry tbh. They won't last long on iOS.. If there games are anything like there past no one will buy them anyway.

Nihilistic hasn't made a game that was anything more than average. However, I don't think anyone really gave them a shot, either...

3DS Friend Code: 0645 - 5827 - 5788
WayForward Kickstarter is best kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236620800/shantae-half-genie-hero

So is this newsworthy? Well, honestly it probably isn’t, except that we are making this transition without any planned layoffs or leaving any debts behind. Nihilistic will fade into the sunset the way it started; a collaboration of talented folks dedicated to transparency and respect for employees. Over the next couple months we’ll get leaner as some of our talent finds new homes, and emerge as a smaller and more focused company.

You should put that last sentence in bold too...  It totally contradicts the first bold point.

You  may have a point but many hardcore games don't know either. So casual doen'st always mean stupid, or misinformed.
