that's because you like sony more than you like nintendo probably. nothing wrong with that tho

but once again we see how sony copies nintendo! but this is one thing they shouldn't try to copy....

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Because more people actively WANT Nintendo to fail than the other companies.

Nope that is Sony's job.

@DanneSandin

Thats true I am mostly a sony fan lol but I always supported and brought Nintendo's handhelds mainly because they get some decent Rpgs. Brought a Vita over the 3ds this time round though :P

MS is always losing money but they sell so much software it doesn't make a dent.

Remember the Kin?
Zune anyone?
Bing?

It's called paranoia. There are far more Sony doom articles. They've been going strong since 2006. I think the few Nintendo related articles can be ascribed to the fact Nintendo posted its first loss since forever recently, so that probably got the ball rolling.

Luckily, ever since the 3ds turn around, they've kinda stopped. Man, everyone is always hating on Nintendo and Sony. Where are all the Microsoft haters?

Sony doom articles started when...Sony started to screw up. The PS3 started off as a disaster, they had financial troubles in the company, the Vita is currently doing badly. People jumped on that.

Meanwhile, even when Nintendo was having great success with Wii, they were consistently proclaimed to be doomed.

Things seem to have shifted to Sony now because of Vita and MS, as usual, remains immune to The Doom.

Great thread and superb research!

This is how it is: gaming journalists aren't really journalists - they're all fan boys in one way or another. They usually get caught up in their own hypes. It's the cool thing to bash Nintendo because the 'journalists' are gamers, and Nintendo didn't do as well with N64 and and GC as they once had. During this era the Internet also grew and reviews started to go online, coexiding with the diminishing power of Nintendo. Then came the Wii, which didn't cater to gamers as much as it did to casuals. And since game journalists are gamers they couldn't coup with this and didn't accept it.

All in all; game journalists as biased motherfuckers and don't deserve to be called journalists!!

Agreed lol.

"All in all; game journalists as biased motherfuckers and don't deserve to be called journalists!!"

Most are just Sony PS generation fan boys with industry jobs and opinions.

I love My Wii U, and the potential it brings to gaming.

People are quick to forget the N64 and the Gamecube...
