The online retailer ShopTo has reportedly leaked the release date of the next entry in the Metal Gear saga, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, for a September 2013 release date. 

 

Normally we wouldn't give much credence to rumors such as this, but ShopTo has a history of leaking accurate release dates, correctly revealing the release date of Crysis 3 earlier this year. 

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes was officially unveiled earlier this year at PAX Prime. If the September 2013 date is true, it will be coming a mere six months after Platinum Games' Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, making 2013 possibly the best year ever for Metal Gear fans. 

ShopTo has since taken the page with the leak down, so thanks to WreckedPixel for the heads up.

It's called the laws of over reaching.

E.g: My above sentence only has 7 words, I'm a big ps3 fan and a fan of ff7, therefore FF7 remake on the ps3 confirmed!

Didn't conclude anything :P I'm just guessing. One, or perhaps both, of the up coming systems from MS/Sony will launch next year so it wouldn't be too far fetched to think MGS: GZ is gonna be a launch title if it's due next year in the fall...

I want to play this game on a next gen system, with no bugs, pop-ups, screen tearing, etc. This game deserves it.
