Forums - General - Bus driver uppercuts annoying girl.

I'm pretty sure they said he lost his job on my drive to work this morning. I was sleepy. Maybe I heard my radio wrong.

I deal with loud mouths around the clock here in Cleveland. There are better ways to handle these kinds of situation, mainly cooperating with aggressive people instead of provoking them further. Especially in the Cleveland area. 90% of the time you got to swallow your pride and swallow hard.

He knocked the hood rat out of her.
This time next week when the uppercut wears of, the first thing she is going to do is get her nails and hair done, and start wearing skirts and women's perfume, lipstick, makeup, all that good stuff.
A punch like that will make any hood rat loud mouth into a woman/lady.

The danger of hitting someone while THEY are driving is very high. She endangered everyone on that bus when she did that and threatened him. Bus driver was in the right in every way. In Mortal Kombat voice: EXCELLENT!

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

Did you see that form? Did you see his execution?! It was amazing.

I side with the bus driver. If you strike a man as a woman, all bets are off. Same rule applies for any gender really, but I'm sure the feminist are gonna slaughter the guy on the telly. I can only hope he only loses his job and gets no time but that's wishful thinking in our society. I think he had the right to maintain control in the bus, even if brute force had to be used. If it were up to me, he would keep his job.

Should violence always be solved with more violence? No, the uppercut was not necessary but goddamn did she deserve it.

He clearly went over the top in his response, however. I would say he was justified in forcibly ejecting her from the bus, but that uppercut beforehand clearly crossed a line.

What should have happened, after it was clear that she was determined to be disruptive, is that he should have stopped the bus, called the dispatch for a replacement bus, and told everyone to get off. That's what happened one time when someone started verbally abusing a bus driver when i was riding a bus once in Washington, DC.

No, something like this should have happen instead.

The bus driver handled that situation very unprofessionally. That was clearly not self defense.

I've been in a situation like this before. The bus driver stayed calm, had his comm with dispatch open and said, you can leave the bus now peacefully, or the police will be here in a couple of minutes to remove you. After another minute of cursing the bus driver out but getting only a calm reasoned response back, they left the bus and the trip continued after a round of applause from the passengers.

This guy needs a suspension and conflict resolution training.
