If PS3 games were of higher quality and kept owners satisfied they would pend more time playing said games. However PS3 owners spend less time playing games on average. So we can conclude that PS3 games are not good enough to satisfy them so they instead just watch Blu-Rays.

Also the PS3 offers the least quality overall as 360 gets 4.9 hours of use per week, with the PS3 behind at 4.1 hours per week. And the Wii is the least used of the bunch, averaging just 1.4 hours per week.

So by using the logic of the OP I have proven that the PS3 in fact has less quality entertainment than the X360, especially in terms of games.

You forget to mention that Wii is below those numbers. So Wii > all. Go Wii!!

Damn, with his 32 PS3 games Jay must be one of the most unsatisfied PS3 owners. Either that or he sucks at choosing good games.

Why do people get riled up so much by these threads? OT: looking at the graph, it would appear that USA people buy more games and as more USA people own Xbox to PS3 it is clear what the tie ratio is.

I find it funny how statistics can be misread. There is no "logical" way to say why some people are buying more games than others. That are just opinions trying to be covered with Mathematics.

Every gamer has a different saturation point (how long can I play a game before it gets boring), a different time budget, etc.

I think I just looked into a mirror and saw my PS3 zealot counterpart. Ya....think of that given who I am and what I believe.....because that is the biggest rationalization for LOSING that I have ever heard.

I got a theory and it is far simpler. PS3 gamers bought PS3 for the bluray and see less need to game in the first place. Hence I conclude that PS3 owners are lesser gamers because they lack the need to game iin favour of watching movies.

And using your logic....if PS3 gamers are soooo satisfied, then WTH is Sony doing pumping out games after more games???? Guess after seeing lesser then optimal sales for recent exclusives, guess your right that PS3 fans feel no need to get another fix.....or i'm right that they just don't care about gaming at all.

The facts are that 360 has more games, more critically acclaimed games, and 360 gamers simply support their console better with their wallets.
