still doesn't change the fact Sony chose not to do price cut and the streams are crossed now.

Nah, it was not THAT off! It charted! Top 20, no less, lol.

But like I said to Rol, if all things fail, I'll just say digital sales for the game were record shattering. You can't touch that! :)

My prediction was right before TGS too, at that time everybody and their mother were expectiing a big japanese character reveal at their panel, not nothing...

What an incredible line-up for both 3DS and Wii U in japan, but especially 3DS. Definitely one of the most epic years I've ever seen. If Monster Hunter 4 was a 2012 game, it would be the undisputed champion, imo... maybe by a wide margin

Sony is in a lot of trouble, apparently Wonderbook isn't so hot in germany either. Amazon germany is giving it away for free (39.99€ worth) if you purchase the Move Starter Pack + Sports Champions.

 

Also, Japan is excited about the upcoming Wii U according to a Famitsu survey. And Nintendo hasn't even started advertising it properly lol. Rumor is that the Wii U Monster Hunter bundle will be open for preorder on saturday.



Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

BTW... not bad, but that Pokémon Boxart could have been much better, imo. It looks generic.

Nowadays the pre-order charts really can't be trusted. It's very Sony-centric.

Are you sure the Vita is gaining ground? Cause to me it seems to be the nail in the coffin. They had several new titles coming this week. Hardware sales rose 3k? Ys sold around 40k? Those are pretty bad numbers if you ask me, given the game was not only a remake but a re-imagining and one of the great Vita exclusives coming out. Granted, i guess it s not that relevant in japan it seems.

With that said, the system is in dire trouble. I actually think its worse than that at this point, as Vita only has soul sacrifice and PSO2 to look forward to in the future. The end is fast aproaching.
