Excite Truck, it seems, is £5 in my local CEX. I might actually pick it up as well as something for the PS3. Thank you!

That's true. I looked at the first page of this thread again and there were a lot of Paradise suggestions. Cheers.

lol, it's funny because Metacritic offers the worst aggregate review services in the indusrty. GameRankings is infinitely better for many reasons: 1) No weighting system. 2) The ability to add missing reviews. 3) Doesn't use nearly as many low quality sources. 4) Doesn't insult people's intelligence by using a colour coding system. 5) Conversion system turning graded scores into a numbered score on the 10/100 point scale isn't totally wrong.
Why people still give Metacritic hits is beyond me but I digress. A list of suitable PS3 games and prices at CEX for you Kresnik:

Thanks for this :)
Do you have a personal recommendation out of these games?

Honestly you can't go wrong with any of the games listed as they're all cheap and of good quailty but personally I'd suggest: Burnout Paradise, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Blur.
If you ike Motorstorm you'll probably like Pure which is quite similar but you can only drive quad-bikes, still it's a fun game.
I´d recommend Burnout Paradise and also Motorstorm: Apocalypse. If you are a PSN Plus member you can download it for free ;)

Test Drive 5. If that fails then Cruis'n Usa or Outrun 2. To play Outrun 2 you'll need a EU account to download off the EU store since Microsoft paid for it to be exclusive to Xbox in NA (At least that's the only logical conclusion I can come too). Or get the PS2 version.
