I dunno man, he did really well with Castlevania. He's going to direct the second game as well. Its like he's the saving grace of Konami quality. I hope Konami doesn't cause the poor genius to get a heart attack.

He didn't really do much for Castlevania, that's all Mercury Steam's baby.  Though I feel that Mercury Steam dropped the ball with the game all the same, they might do better with the sequel.

Mercury Steam was very good but he did a great job of directing an epic story. He did quite a bit.

He directed what?  Mercury Steam did the story, they had 6 writers on the game.  Kojima Productions didn't really do much.  I mean they sent some guys over to help with the tech but it was all Mercury Steam.

Well they had someone run some find and replace on the script to change everything to Castlevania, aparently Kojima decided that the game was too good to be an origonal IP and that it should be a Castlevania game instead.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

No thanks. I don't want an interactive movie-like Silent Hill.

We need moar Zelda, now!

We need moar Unchartedzz!

We need less DLCs.

Yes, they also stopped development of the game very early to make it Castlevania, it's not documented on how far along the scrip was and I doubt the script had gone anywhere by the time the game was halted to turn it into Castlevania.  they probably just had a prototype for gameplay ready.
