And? I'm pretty sure 99% of people that buy a Wii U at launch will already own a Wii anyway. Although I agree the article is bs, I don't think being backwards compatible matters with this discussion.

I was just stating it because they seem to think that there would be a gap based on the fact that the wii u will not have games like wii fit and wii sports etc so there wouldn't be as many casual games on there to begin with for the casual gamers to enjoy but that is why I said that the whole wii library will work just fine with it.
As for the cost of the equipment needed for the wonderbook, Okie it's not close to 3k was kinda joking but in comparison to the price of an actual book or series of books even it is over the top, I thought they could learn from the u play tablet thing that THQ blew a load of money on to find that people are not willing to pay 60euros for a tablet and 40euros for coloring book software when an actual coloring book costs about 2euros without the need to take up the tv and ps3 at the same time.
