Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is the first full sequel to follow TaleWorlds’ medieval combat sandbox and its expansions.

TaleWorlds doesn’t have much to say about the sequel as yet, beyond the trailer below and a note mentioning “up-close and personal medieval combat on a huge scale, bigger, bloodier and more intense” level than ever before and “many exciting and highly requested new features”.

More information has been promised over the next few months.

Mount & Blade released in 2008 and was followed by two stand alone expansions, Warband in 2010 and With Fire and Sword in 2011, as well as recent DLC pack for the latter, Napoleonic Wars.

I liked it, but I wouldn't say I loved it 

I am super exited for what they could do with a full sequel 

I can't believe it, why is VGC so hyped about Mount & Blade?

Yup. Absolutely loved the first one. Bought the expansions, but never got around playing them. This is great news, though I'll probably wait a few years before I play the sequel
