Yeah, I kinda understand it. If it were me, I'd have merged Liverpool & Evolution long ago anyway. But shutting one down and handing their IP to the other just seems a bit... pointless.

Oh well, nothing to do now but wait and see what they come up with!

I think this is another move from Sony of Merging studios together

they must want to make evolution studios their one and only non GT racing dev. They also have a lead from the PGR series working with them now.

Most probably good chunk of the liverpool staff must be at Evolution now
