To me they are f* iconic, almost as much as gen 1 nes boxarts.

Look at this guy's face. He really thinks he's awesome. With slightly pouting lips, while holding a plastic microphone. Not to mention the strange position his arm is in, just try that without dislocating your shoulder. If it even is his arm in the first place, it's probably pasted there afterwards.
