2 3D TVs and a 3D capable projector. Haven't used 3D for a year at least...

I use the 3D mode for movies, and in games when I already got all the trophies I wanted to obtain. 3D can be a bit distracting some times in games. Just like with the move controller, I use it when obtaining trophies is not an objective. lol XD

I wonder when glasses-less 3D TVs are going to be available (for a reasonable price).   The glasses annoy a bit, that is why I cant use them when I need to be focused while playing some games......like Uncharted 3 on crashing, or KZ3 on elite.

When I have 3D movies, I use it all the time, it looks really awesome!!  But still, I WANT A GLASSES LESS-BIG 3D TV!!

I wouldn't ever buy a 3DTV that requires glasses. I would maybe buy one that didn't require glasses. I will enjoy my recently acquired LCD for awhile considering that glasses free technology is pretty far off from low budget consumer price point. It took me till about 2011 to get LCD HDTV to replace my CRT. So I will wait because TVs will always drop in price.

hm.. I imagine the current form of glassless 3D to be fairly uncomfortable to be honest as it sounds like you lose the 3D effect pretty easily once you tilt your head/move a bit

I have one, but I have only used the 3D feature twice in 2 years. In fact, I even forgot my TV supported 3D till I saw this thread. I bought the set for the picture quality, and not the 3D, so it hardly matters. I will admit that I enjoyed Super Stardust HD in 3D more than I did without, but I can't stand looking at 3D for more than an hour at a time.

No, I don't have it. Does not interest me really. Although, I tried 3D in a sony store once and it was alright, not amazing though. I'm perfectly happy with HD still.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I have two. I didn't buy for the 3D feature, and it's barely used for both games and movies.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

No. There is almost no point to them, at this moment in time I should say.

The only time stereoscopic 3D really impressed me was in Futuroscope in France. They had a huge IMAX dome with a 48fps underwater film, swimming between the coral reefs. Full 180 degree field of view as well as up and down, and the shows only last 20 minutes so no eye strain problems.

Even more impressive was the laser projection show at night on synchronized waterfalls. Having a full train come at you projected on water vapor over a lake is one cool experience. Not really suitable for at home unfortunately.

Too bad I live so far away now, I would love to see this

3D is best suited for amusement parks imo, until VR becomes affordable and motion sickness free. I hope the Oculus rift turns out well.
