That thread is terribly looked after. The title still has the update from months ago. Its impossible without loking through the thread to find out what as and hasnt been posted.

No shit, that's what you are supposed to do anyway, especially with an official thread. I can't speak for Yo_John on the up keep of the thread because he had left us but for such a "terribly looked after" thread, it still beat you to the punch by two days. None of what you say warrants another thread.

However alot of people here seemingly dont know of this video, which suggests people are seing the title and not bothering. I know of comments in the official thread that say they avent checked in ages due to the title. Itmakes you think theres nothing new.

Of course another reason people feel Xbox is shit on on VGC is because people dont complain when theres 500 Last Of Us threads. sigh.

Almost 23,000 views and always way up high on the MS disussions....sure. If a Halo fan doesn't know about this video then that's on them not to mention that forum buddy should keep you updated.

Seriously, though, it's nice to see such an emphasis on character.  Bungie, tbh, were never great storytellers imo.  There were some sequences that I thought were executed really effectively (first reveal of the Flood and the entire space mission in Reach come to mind), but most simply were just better-than-average for a game.  Which is shame because the actual plot elements of the Halo universe are great but you have to learn so much of it outside of the games.  Hopefully 343 is able to pull it off better and this video gives me hope for sure.  

I can't believe the amount of work put in this game. I don't understand how this game can be sold at 60$, same price as some single players that last 6-8hours. Seriously if there is one game that puts other games to shame it's this one and it doesn't care whether it's exclusive or not it's the best all around... welcome back Chief!

When they started talking about the humanity beneath the suit my very first thought was "Halo Prime".

Regardless, dunno how the game it going to be, but the cut-scenes look amazing.  Lots of dollars going into this thing.

Might get a 360 around the holidays.  Maybe this will be my first Xbox game.  Anyone know when the 360 deals start?  Early December?

Not GOTY, but it does look awesome! Too bad I don't have a 360 and I don't want to buy it just for all the Halo games. ;P
