I thought TGS was not until the 20th? Why the early reveals?

Or Nintendo.

Ah, but they do "attend" to it

1 - They will probably have a conference close to TGS, like most previous years.

2 - Other companies announce games for their systems, it's not like there will be no 3DS support or Wii U if Nintendo is not there.

But in the same way, I think Sony can, for example, announce an Atlus Vita game during their presentation or a Capcom's. It's still very open.

I think your meaning and my meaning of attend are different.

Yes, Nintendo does a conference before the TGS and it's obvious that they do it to use some of the attention the TGS gets, but since they don't have a booth or anything else on the show, for me they don't attend it.

What 3rd parties bring to the show doesn't change it.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Mind the quotes in my post

It's just the early list, containing no reveals, just little secrets here and there

Here's what we have so far for TGS mysteries:

  • 2 coming soon Level 5 games
  • Gust Special Stage on Tecmo presentation - Future of Atelier and Surge Concert (that Vita Ciel no Surge game released some months ago).
  • 5 games from Namco Bandai

The rest is just protocol

Is today the "National Reveal your stuff Day" in Japan or something?

Prototype Teases Tokyo Game Show Game Announcement

Prototype's consumer (consoles/portable) Tokyo Game Show lineup includes Le Fruit de la Grisala (PSP) and Kudowafta Converted Edition (PSP), both playable.

The studio will also be showing what it refers to as an "extremely new title." This new consumer game be unveiled on the first day of the show.

So... one more "extremely" new game here.

Their games are just sexy Love Sims though. Can't even find pics of the second one

The final big one - wait there's Konami yet? Doesn't matter, already changed the thread title and won't do again :)

Sony also opened its Tokyo Game Show portal. The portal page confirms that the booth will have live streaming broadcasts of stage events through Nico Nico Live. A schedule will be announced later.

The bad thing is that the stream is going to be through Nico Nico... recent final fantasy event showed how hard they suck.

Sony Japan could learn a thing or two with Nintendo Direct (US STREAM)

That Vita lineup is a bit less punchy than I'd hoped...a lot of games. But not really a lot of system sellers IMO...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

There are some like Soul Sacrifice that may surprise, but what I really expect from Sony this TGS is a huge game, from a huge franchise. Final Fantasy is in the wild, so...

But Yakuza, God Eater, Metal Gear... and lots of others, including some DS franchises, could do the trick.
