Wow that is awesome! i cant wait for the game!

My biggest problem (which is really MY problem) is that I tend to finish games in one sitting when it comes to God of War and Uncharted. I am just so into the moment that I cant stop playing for the life of me.

SO THIS IS FUCKING GREAT NEWS :D.

But at the same time, I would much rather have the 8 hour Uncharted 3 than the 10 hour Uncharted 2 (Its the time that it took me). What I am trying to say is that the length doesnt really represent much. All I know is I am going to get more out of it, but more does not equal better.

And I already doubt they will top God of War 3 since that was such an epic conclusion.

Nice try slipping the word 'content' in there to support your case. He never said content. Though to be fair, using "so much stuff" is incredibly vague. But I think its fair to infer that he's referrig to GoW's continuously flowing, fresh, and rich experience not found in Darksiders. (Subjective). This is often a problem with open world games in comparison to linear games.

OT: I don't know why, but I was expecting the OP to say 20 hours of gameplay or something, but this is still great.

I actually played Ascensions at Fan Expo. It is quite good.

Quality > Quantity

Long, huh? I consider long to be 40-60 hours. 14 is in the meh semi-short territory.

OT: This is fantastic news! I may be in the minority but I am someone who usually takes even longer to finish a SP campaign than the dev estimate. Reason? in games like GOW and UC, I take a LOT of time just to admire the atmosphere, architecture etc within the game. For example in uncharted 3 I spent a lot of time just admiring the paintings and such on the walls hehe. For me that's where the true immersion in these games lies. 

Multiplayer doesn't look x1000 replayable.
