damn that's fugly! Is it American or EU box art?

The rating is from Europe so it's the European box. I hope they change their mind to change the box art 'cause I don't wanna think the U in ZombiU as U-gly. 

I agree it's not very appealing, but it does make sense in the context of the game, just like the game's name makes sense: YOU become a zombie once bitten and then must go back as a new character and fight against yourself as a zombie.

The cover follows this idea, there is a picture of an eye of someone who is about to be bitten and become a zombie, but the image is actually from the zombie's point of view, so he is seeing himself reflected in the eyes of his next victim, which is what would happen if you go back to fight against yourself and lose.

It's fine. The eye symbolizes someone's last moment dieing by that zombie. It really cant get much darker than that. It also will not hurt sells. Not really understanding the hate but ok.
