At least in MC 3DS is in a respectable 70k... still nothing fantastic
Anyway... other than the whole post-obon sad sales, Special Report Division for Vita launched.
Kinda flopped. But Vita Hardware stayed "consistent", which is good, bad and terrible, at the same time
Next week is when the fight begins!
Big drops all around, I forgot last week was some sort of holiday.

Not that I know what I'm doing....but I really thought the 3DS family would be around 90k.
EDIT: Did they sell Pikachu 3DS or just pre-orders?

Just pre-orders, it'll launch on september 19th.
But it won't be big, since it's Pokemon store exclusive. I don't even think it'll be tracked. September 27th a new Pink 3DS will launch, though, and it could make a big impact.
from what i'm seeing (counting backwards from the XL launch).
43k, 48k, 53k, 68k, 71k, 60k, 63k, 100k, 55k,...
so that puts 3DS basically back to pre-XL, pre-NSMB levels?
I can't believe that Special Report Division sold even worse than Time Traveler's. Two new Ips and both of them flopped badly. These sale numbers won't persuade Japanese developers to stop making games for the PSP for at least another year. But even if they do drop support I can't see them choosing the Vita over the 3DS.

After selling great, yes, basically the same level. Maybe it's just post-obon though - 3DS has zero new releases for a month now too. Numbers will improve from now on, I think

Well, but let's be fair: Time Travelers flopped everywhere - it's not Vita's fault.
