I knew its been a while, but not that long. I'm wondering if it had anything to do with the size of the team... Well, I'm sure something will come out of it, but what.

I hope TLG does eventually get released. If nothing else, let it be for the sake of the poor fans who waited (and continue to wait) for the game's release all this time.

To some of their studios too hard, it seems.
Goodbye, I would fire everyone from the studio. Of course then I'm sure there would have to be some form of compensation of unemployment. However, I wouldn't care. This studio has done really nothing profitable or worthwhile for over six years.
Shut the studio down. I would have canned this studio instead of SCE Liverpool. I don't know how things are going in the UK as far as gaming goes, appears to be struggling to stay afloat.
Anyway back on top. Fire them all, get a new staff on The Last Guardian, put a deadline of six months to have a playable demo for at least one market and a year to have a demo available for all three major markets and have a final prototype done for beta testing.

If they did that it wouldn't be the same game.
What they would need to do is just leverage the creativity of these people by coupling them with new blood that is technically inclined. Creativity doesn't take time to produce, it's putting it in paper/movie form that takes time. They need more technical leverage I think.

I don't care at this point. The game would get released and it could still be incredibly fun to to play. An experience that people could actually experience.
My vote remains to fire everyone from the Team Ico staff.

As far as I've played, these games are about something unique that only certain people in the team were able to create. I don't believe that this is possible without those key people, honestly. That experience you're talking about I doubt it would live on like I like it.

You've played The Last Guardian?

No, have you?
I was talking about its predecessor, SotC.

No I haven't and no-one outside of Sony has either. That's the point. I don't care what kind of "experience" they are trying to make. It's been 6-7 years since they have done anything and that is a waste of money and resources. Not to mention this game has become a stain on an otherwise brilliant comeback of the PS3.
This is the only thing from before 2009 that involves the PS3 that people still talk about and it isn't in any way, shape or form good talk.
