After the amount of money that's likely gone into this it would be crazy not to at least try to get back some of the cash. It's not a big team but the time alone speaks for itself.

Disbanding the team is something I think will happen though. SONY's shut down team LiverPool for not being productive enough and now supposedly 2 thirds of the guys on that team now work for other SONY studios. The rest are laid off... no way is Team ICO getting away with their performance.

The didn't fall asleep for 7 years. Some of that time went to actually developing the Last Guardian. Technically they didn't stop making anything.

I heard they were still working on a game called Last Guardian so no.

It won't be cancelled. They showed the game in 2009 because it was not far from release, then probably they stumbled upon a lot of problems (by then)far in the development wich caused them to start from scratch.

Maybe I'm missing something ... I don't see how developing high profile games with a talented producer who is disconnected from the company is like handing the company over to Ken Kutaragi.
