Face-to-Face games typically start at Night otherwise the mafia would have no idea who their teammates are. Online games typically start during the day, because as you read, the moderator can inform them by way of PM, so there is no need for compensation.

What makes you think the rules are special for this game?

With all of the "daytalk" talk, I do believe they can. But it's different for me to think it a possibility given I've been in many games and even introduced mafia daytalk to VGC, than for a first-timer like yourself to assume the "abnormal" is going on.

Zero129 is playing his noob card far too much. The rules have been linked to him on numerous occasions, he's had 45 pages and several days to get over his excitedness at being in a game and take notes from how others are playing, but he's still playing with a light touch. Making long lists of suspicions, keeping a running commentary on whoever's just made a good point while being apathetic to who's actually likely to be lynched.

Associative cases like you've said here are very weak until someone's alignment has been revealed in future days. It's highly unlikely anyone could catch who "the three" are on day one by themselves even with perfect logic, and much like your reference to earlier stuff about mantle that didn't exist, it's material that appears to be evidence but on closer look isn't. Your post is extremely thin without that.
