There's quite a difference between asking a person's opinion on another player, and prof's " Does anyone here suspe t radish besides mantle? " for example.

Mafia will never give straight answers, but town will almost always be honest. The reasoning for such opinions and then changes are great tools for scumhunting.

I liked mantle as town after his pressure on radish, though I said I was convinced of radish's guilt. He then said he would be very surprised if hat is scum, based on his post towards mario. After I pointed out an error in said post, he quickly changed his tune. I no longer like mantle as much, but he could have missed the same thing I did on my first read. So not a scum feeling either. I would not have had that change of opinion unless he volunteered an opinion on hatmoza and you asked him about it.

Remember that NoCtis stopped lurking when it suited him lat game. He seems to lurk, but I tthink he is just waiting for the right time to post.


Did pezus actually point out Noctis is lurking at any point? Guess I've missed that.

I really never mind the "what do you think about x" questions... that is until they become boringly redundant and transferred from one player to another. as long as they are contained and focused I can stomach them. Example being someone saying, "ok! I want everyone's opinion on etc etc! Those who don't answer, DEATH by party canon!"

While I agree somewhat with you... I really didn't see Mantle going THAT crazy with the questions. I think it somewhat generated focused discussion at least. I don't like how you cut him short- snip by snip.

Soleron, while I think it doesn't get straight answers, it can force scum to build connections they wouldn't form voluntarily, so I see some use in these questions... also if persons are too absolute this early in the game it can be a major tell on things. I know you didn't call them useless, but to me it appears like you want to lessen their value.

That was a pretty hasty vote. I could roughly apply the same logic to Spurge or Moreno. Why make this exclusive to Pezus?

I was trying to show hat that FF had said there would be multiples of each character, but the other point was valid.

In my defense, last night, I was half reading the game. I didn't really start reading through posts or the OP until earlier today. I was not lying when I said I was suffering reading failure, or perhaps better put,lack of motivation to digest the game when it started. Overall, my response was an immediate reaction to how I felt about F-F's need to elaborate and explain specifics of the game at that time.

In that light. I still feel uneasy about supermario because that means he was throwing speculations around based on F-F's post.

 

Also, this is just the start of the game. It really is nothing more of a feeling right now... Your quick defense at supermario's behalf is not as nearly suspicious as Mantle's buddying up to me. So at least something good is coming out of this.

 

Why do you think I was buddying up to you? When I did have my set of questions for mario as well?

What do you think about radish, hat?

Are you trying to say that having a set of questions for mario is supposed to be evidence of not buddying up to hat?

I should be the one saying something like "How is pointing out your fallacious argument(while agreeing on the other points of the post) a quick defense, when I was already questioning mario?"


town Linkz would have countered me directly with such a question.

scum Linkz would have hesitantly rebuttal~ed through a third person post, in a cowardly attempt to defend himself rather than directing his concerns head on with me.

Next he says this. He is mostly joking around here to not draw attention.

That is all so far, but I am most suspicious of him at the moment. Both posts were made very early in the game, so he mind change my mind if he posted a bit more. However, I think he is our best option at the moment.

Why not Noctis? I didn't check moreno's online status, but Noctis does show up as being online 9 hours ago(yes I know it's not a foolproof metric) and yet only has his checking in post.

Na i dont know as much as you would think about it lulz, thats why i have that link open so when someone says something i can know what they mean lulz and also know what to say. But other then that i just know the basics pretty much. But na i have no more at stake then any other player thats why im more worried about getting killed by the mafia then being voted by the town lulz. unless a townie can get voted out too?.

You read some of that and more I would assume, but don't know that town can get lynched? Even logically, how could the game be played if only mafia could be lynched?
