While the death of Armstrong is surely a recognizable event, it is clear that most of us don't pay any attention to the hundreds of engineers and scientists who worked together to make Armstrong's travel even possible. He's only a legend because of what others made possible for him to achieve, but it's not his fault at all. However, the elevation of his status to hero is what always annoyed me when he was alive and that of course will only become a bigger nuisance now that he is dead.

Just my opinion though.

RIP Neil Armstrong, he showed what we are capable of us as a race. It's such a shame he died :(

Guys it's not a shame and being blunt the man was 82 years old! You should all think of how awesome his legacy is and the fact that he lived a full life.
