So you are predicting that between now and Jan 5th 3DS sells 7.4m to Vita's 3.5m.... that's quite an extreme change from the current trends.

In a few short weeks it will be very clear that 3DS is going to sail past 30 mil this year.

One way or the other, PSV's future will also be clear.

That kinda adjustment happens almost every week, the previous week or two changing by a few hundred or thousand as the new weeks data comes in... If the Vita does need to be adjusted down significantly it will effect multiple past weeks (probably 4-5 months worth)

Actually, I'm thinking the adjustments will go as far back as the system's launch week in the west.

Don't worry it's coming.  Quite hard to justify more psv's sold than manufactured and shipped, don't you think?

Expected 300k+ from the 3DS (3DS XL + NSMB2 in US), but still not bad. Vita sales dropping lower and lower... Is this the lowest week ever since its launch in the west?

My prediction is that 3ds will reach 30 million before Vita hits 4 million.

yeah, but it's sales for just one day... I think in the week ending 1 Sep the 3DS will have sold 200-250k in the US, right? at least 150k
