Well, the game is being ported to the PS3 with the whole cross-play thing, so people can still play it on the road and then play it at home on their PS3.

well, I never watch Golf broadcasts and stuff like that because I really think it's mindnumbingly boring, but Hot Shots Golf 5 is one of my favorite games on PS3, because .. it's simply awesome and it's online community was just soo good/mature/friendly, it was pure joy imho

I just think SCE head honchos have lost their mind, and don't have a clue of what to do with Vita. Is the most mismanaged launch I've seen in years.

If this is done with a patch in the Vita release for cross-platform play, it could be a big win for the Vita.
If this is done because Sony needs to sell software to improve its bottom line, it could spell the end for the Vita -- given the timing and territory of this move.

well if they make it cross-buy some people might buy a vita because then they would already have a game for it.

Would've been a smarter idea to leave it exclusive and make the Vita able to stream to your TV. The Vita isn't worth buying if you don't have to own it to play its games.
