They want people to buy a PS3 now when the PS3 Slim is just around the corner. Stock must be cleared out

they said next gen games are being made, you can check the interviews in gametrailers , i think that was there that i saw, we all know that 1 or 2 years and they release it . EA representative said he saw them the other day btw.

I know what the EA president(?)  said.  I just didn't see anything from Sony themselves, just wondering when they said anything as I watched both Gamerscon and E3 conferences.  Too bad nothing more substantial.

I think imma get myself a PS3 this year along side the Wii U. Finally I can watch the Lord of The Rings Trilogy in Bluray that got for Christmas.

I'm pretty sure if they just lowered the current PS3 Slim price by a bit and made it cheaper than the new PS3 slim, people would happily buy it. 

Also, what are people thinking, that Sony would say that now is a bad time to buy a PS3? :P

its actually a bad time to get a PS3 with rumours of a new cheaper model hitting before the end of the year. maybe october-november.
