Yeah, it really doesn't make sense not to include MGS4. It was ranked by IGN as the #1 PS3 game in '09 and #2 in '10. How is it now ranked lower than games that it was previously ranked higher than?

Sometimes, I think IGN deliberately acts absurd just to see how much absurdity they can do before being stripped of their professional title.

I started reading the full list and within two minutes, I notice more absurdity

 

From IGN about Ratchet & Clank...

UC3 #1 seems to be right on the spot with UC2 as number two. God of War 3 should have been top ten.

 

Just noticed no MGS4 wtf.

Nice stealth edit (you didn't specify that you were talking about IGN in the original post). Still, if that's truly the case, this entire system they have isn't accurate.

As many have already said. I find the lack of MGS4 disturbing. It is definitely my favorite PS3 game.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Portal 2
Batman: Arkham City
Red Dead Redemption
Batman: Arkham Asylum
God Of War III
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
BioShock
Infamous

and I would definitely have the following in there somewhere

Mafia 2
Resident Evil 5
SSFIV
CoD MW 2
Killzone 3
MGS4
Assassin's Creed 2

and these I played but didn't like (so definitely wouldn't make my top25)

Rage
Fallout 3
LA Noire
Little Big Planet
Heavy Rain
