I own the Black edition on the original Xbox. I think it's an great racing game with a huge open city. What's your opinion.

Need for Speed III perfectly embodies what the series should be about. Having races at extravagant locations with fantastics cars while being chased by cops. Most Wanted incorporated all of that, but insetad of having separate tracks, it was just one big map with different routes to race in. It was also a great game and I'm glad the series in general found its way again.

One of the greatest racers I've ever played. Great story, settings, visuals and cars.

Played it for gamecube and then for 360, which almost felt like a different game cause it was so much better.

Best of the franchise IMO.

Haven't played it, the only NFS games I have from before 2006 are NFS Underground and Hot Pursuit 2, both for GameCube. Those were both great games, but I'm pretty excited for the new most wanted, it its anything like burnout paradise, which it is supposed to be

i loved the cop chases and free roam with the chases, unlike the overrated 2010 NFS HP

it was the also the last nfs game with street drag racing that was introduced to us in the 1st underground

i think it and underground 2 are the peak for the street racing series from nfs, i like 2 alot b/c it really had it all besides the cop chases, closed coarse drifting, closed coarse circle track racing, street racing, drag racing open world, and the best customizations. they should bring that back and just add the cop chases to it and you would have the best street racing game, idk why this hasnt been reproduced this gen since 04?

Thought it was a great game, liked the story mode, cop chases and customization.  For a last gen game it had a certain charm.

Remember playing threw it 3 times. Last one i got to 99% done 2 races left card whent corrupt. Fairly sure i almost broke the control when that happened. I still remember when it framerate would slow down to almost a complete holt when you had 50+ cops chasing you, and had been running 25+ mins. Those were the days

Ill give it a 9.9, because of the memory car thing.
