Does Remote Play even work at all? I haven't been able to succeed with any game.

Still waiting for PSOne emulation. Vita's current library is okay, I've thoroughly enjoyed the games I have, but I wont like a more consistent release of titles.

Out of my 40+ game libary only PixelJunk Monsters work, oddly Eden and Racers doesn't work. I haven't tried out Shooters yet though.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

It does work with the pixeljunk games. I've played Pixeljunk Monsters and Final Fantasy VII via remote play and they both worked fine. I really wish they'd release the damn patch for PS1 games to the Vita because I have a huge collection of PS1 digitals that I'd rather play on my Vita than my PSP or PS3.

Oops I shouls have said for PS3 games. I have played some PS1 games over remote play, but I havent been able to do so with any ps3 games (particularly KZ3 and LBP2 like Sony demoed)

Edit: Sony has said ps1 emulation will come this summer, I hope they dont lag it!

I don't know what your issue is with Near. I've never once had a problem with it. It's worked here where i live, in Dallas Texas, Newark New Jersey, Tel Aviv Israel, Tokyo Japan, and Makati Philippines. Lol my vita's mile age is quickly catching up with 12 year old car. Near is really neat, it's helped me meet gamers all around the world, plus some local ones here.

I did find this....

http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/general-vita-discussion/146032-playstation-vita-remote-play-compatibility-list.html

The list is kinda bleak. Apparently Blazblue (but then again who didn't know that would) and Lair (lol).

I hope that there is a big announcement at Gamescom....They really need something to rejuvanate the vita.

Indeed.

@VGking iOS/Android games and apps will be super easy to port over once PS Moble launches. It uses C# and mono just like Android. They just need to launch the damn thing.

@OP and Solid Stark Remote play also works with PS1 classics and PS1 disk games, not sure if PS2 games work or not disk or otherwise. Remote play does need to get more love. There is an issue if you haven't tried remote play from outside your house, most routers send out a signal to verify connectivity that happens to be the signal they made the PS3 use to turn on from remte play. So basically your PS3 will turn on randomly, shut off after a certain amount of time, and disable the through the internet remote play feature. Unless you get the right router or your router has the option to disable those signals, remote play is limited. My guess is PS4 will fix all these issues and be the pairing device we are dreaming of.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
