THQ president Jason Rubin has revealed that the company’s internal studios have started work on four new, currently unannounced titles. He’s also been keeping an eye on the progress of Homefront 2 and the new project from Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Desilets.

Speaking with GI.biz, Rubin revealed, “I’ve been focusing primarily on upcoming projects including Darksiders 2, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Metro: Last Light and Homefront 2, as well as the titles being developed by Turtle Rock Studios, Collision, Crytek and Patrice Désilets.”

Rubin added, “Beyond our announced titles, in the last 60 days, all four of our internal studios began working on new titles that represent the type of product we believe will make THQ successful in the future.”

The quotes come after THQ financial report, in which Guillermo Del Toro’s project inSANE was deemed scrapped.

At least one of those is a FPS from Vigil

I can't wait for their unannounced games that they hadn't thought of yet!

No more FPS's, Metro will be great and HF2 COULD be great, it's enough.

At only 60 days in, not only will nothing be playable yet, but they're all more likely to be cancelled than announced.

Of those, 1 or 2 will most likely be canceled.

So, one of those 4 games is the FPS from Vigil and another one may be Saints Row 4. Which are the other 2?

Saints Row 4 has already been announced and has been in development for months. Hopefully Relic is working on Homeworld or something. No idea on the others probably new IPs, fitting of their new direction.

Oh, I had no idea. I thought there was only the usual rumors, not an actual confirmation of its development.

I wonder how many of those will be cancelled.

I heard from a source within the gaming business that about 80% of all games get cancelled; but I suppose that number involves all games, Big as small - from well known developers to obscure ones.
