That sounds like a good idea.  I was hoping to get to at least 50 votes in the poll.

ON the ogrebattle note, do you know any games that incorporate a heavy political plot with rpg/strategy elements that is similar to Ogrebattle 64?  It's my favorite game of all time and I have yet to find any kind of game that even comes close to it's gameplay and story.

Gameplay? No. Kasz might know some on the Genesis, but it's unique in my experience.

The closest you're goign to get in terms of marrying good political plots with engaging strategy gameplay would be the Radiance games in the Fire Emblem series; that is, Path of Radiance on the Gamecube and Radiant Dawn on the Wii. Excellent stuff.

yeah I own and have beat both of those games.  Those kind of games are by far my favorite.

I despise the Fallout games so do anything except those.

(Though Alan Wake looked interesting... do that one, or do the one's that are the shortest first.)

Witcher 1 is a bit janky in spots, but that series makes your choices affect the story more than any game I've played since Ogre Battle 64 (really). The Witcher games essentially achieve what the Mass Effect series only ever strove for.
