trust me, we work perfectly together. we have been seriously dating for 14 months and have never had a fight of any kind.... she is a really sweet girl... she actually did not want a big ring.... I got her a .70 ct. D color, SV1, Very Good cut... she will love it. I don't plan on popping the question til summer. (I just knew I had better get the diamond now before I dropped it on a Wii...lol)

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Good luck I hope it goes well... Unlike other people *glares*, I'll wish you happyness, and it's worth it when you know you really love the person and that you know they love you equally.

Also about the thing they said about of what she gets you, that's just plain selffish and stupid. When you buy someone something, whatever it is you're not supposed to expect anything in return.

14 months isn't that bad. But considering you 2 haven't got into any fights mean you 2 are meant for each other.

Your probably got a big surprise coming for you, once she finds out how many smackers you drop on this ring....lol

(surprise can mean many possibitlies from girls..lol)

But again nice and I hope the wedding goes well

Good thing the brides parents usually pay for it.  Oh and some people on here are really ridiculous.  I hope half of the posters in this thread never plan on marrying.  Because if you plan on it, good luck finding a partner that deals with your views. lol  At any rate, some people ask what the girl gives a guy in return for a ring.  Just a guess, but to most guys wh buy a ring and get married, love is enough.

Hi lolita!! I'm new!

And your right, you shouldn't expect anything from anyone once they give you something. If they do, it should be from the heart.

The bride's fam covers that ...

Your statement should read 'Wait till you see how much the marriage, the mortgage and the children cost ...'

congrats--been married to my wife for almost 2 years now,...no matter how bad it gets dont give up b/c once you hammer out the details it is worth everything you have put in

also remember this old Sicilian proverb, "a man is like a piece of cheese"

A few statistics show that relationships that do not show any arguments deteriorate overtime. I'd just spill a milkshake on purpose, but make it look accidental.

Other than that, enjoy serving your life sentence and that new ball and chain!
