Sweet mother of awesome. GO BEARS!!!!

There is no one with two losses and who picked Detroit to win (hint chocoloco). So a Detroit win won't help anyone move up to top five with two losses already. Top five will be out of those listed above, pending no changes.

Chicago needs to whoop that ass!!! 25+pts win!!!

I do not care about winning weekly as much as watching da games that make it funner. It is like betting without actually betting.

Da Lions for the win , baby. You know considering the teams the lions beat STL and PHI while also considering they have had more tough games than Da bears (the vikings and 49ers) it is reasonable to assume they are almost as good as Da Bears with their cake walk schedule. It is actually reasonable that they could win as they have one of the best offenses and a defense that is almost as good as yours. Should be a good game.

Raiders pull it out in OT! Guess the Jag's suck more

Same reason why most people picked them. Their opponent is Jacksonville.

The Raiders might win though, thanks to injuries on the side of the Jaguars.

EDIT: They tied the game with three and a half minutes left on the clock. Meanwhile, the Patriots want to prevent perfect weeks in the prediction league.

Heh, oh yeah. Thanks for the reminder!

Although as someone who wound up with MJD on his fantasy team (the computer picked him for me. And it only spent a fifth of my points in doing so!) I'm sad that he went out so early. Should've had a field day, really.

I laugh at the thread title. Jay Cutler owns the Lions, his stats vs. the Kitties: 66.7 comp% 1,415 yards, 10 TDs & 1 INT = 105.0 QB Rating

Detoilet has a chance if they can somehow miraculously run the ball, but good luck vs Bears #1 ranked run D. Lovie's D feasts on making teams 1 dimensional, & Detroit will make it even easier, obliging, voluntarily. Bears will be balanced on O, and Cutler will continue carving those cowardly Lions up.

Bears: 34
Pussies: 13

I see, somebody already did all the work. It's good to know that not everyone in this thread is a lazy bastard.

Looks like I have pretty good chances to finish in the top 5 this week. The Bears aren't going to win by more than two scores. Remember last year when they got the **** beat out of them by the Lions? Remember that this year's Lions fan in the NFL thread predicted that the Bears will get swept by both the Packers and the Lions?

Third place this week is mine.

EDIT: By the way, arcane_chaos is going to be pissed, because he didn't make the perfect week due to forgetting about TNF.

Bold never happened. Last season Det/Chi split their series.

Bears AT Lions (12-24... Detroit won by 12pts)
Lions AT Bears (37-13... Bears won by 24pts)

Bears also have a good record in their first game after bye weeks. (15-8 since 1990)

Don't live in denial. The bolded became an instant classic in last year's NFL thread. Just ask amp316.

It was a classic due to the dirty plays by Detroit.. not because of their 12 point win in Detroit. Also why they got stomped by Bears in Chicago later that season just before Bears injuries killed the team.

You don't understand at all. Last year the Lions started 5-0 and the Bears 2-3, so there was a reason for a Lions fan to actually post in an NFL thread. There was a lot of mudslinging which culminated in the legendary phrase "the Lions beat the **** out of the Bears" and a prediction for a repeat of the first game between these two teams. Long story short is that the Lions fan never posted in the NFL thread again after the second game.

I guess you missed the whole incident, because you weren't aware of the NFL thread until late in the season last year. You really missed out.

ahhh now I see the tie-in. Sorry to ruin it. :/

I do remember that event though as I think that was why I joined the thread. But you usually have a better memory on items like that.

That same lions fan was a dick and tried to do everything he could to prove that Tebow is not the son of God. Dirty Heathen gets wasted by the bears as a result. Good riddance.

Da Lions, baby, woooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh look who is here. It's the fair weather Broncos fan.

It is really the same as last season. You make a statement of disappointment regarding the Broncos, then they start winning and suddenly you have a Broncos avatar and are totally "Football! Yeah, baby!"

Herp Derp Son, I have been here all season. In fact you could say this thread is the only reason I come here anymore.

The Broncos had two close loses in a row to two badass teams in Atlanta, and Houston and against the much hated Cheatriots that just dampened my mood. Houston and the Cheatriots deserved the win while Atlanta was given a win due to turnovers. Either way, the Vikings are the best and I am going to start promoting them BIG TIME BABY!!!

I'm just glad the dallas cowboys finally won a dam game!!!! dallas cowboys fan for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
