Lol I like how the other 3-0 team (the cardinals) are not part of the poll haha.
NFL says call was a good one. Don't expect them to bend on the officials.
Also, you are claiming this call would have been made with the real officials... thats a bold claim
Also, didn't the officials blow a call earlier which led to the Packers touchdown? From what I gather if this call was made the game wouldn't have came down to the last play of the game anyway.
Also, if I were a ref on the field I would call it a touchdown too knowing that there is a better chance of getting the call right that way being that scoring plays are reviewed
Simultaneous possession is reviewable in the endzone. Not in the rest of the field of play.
Just had to clear that misconception up.
Also, zelhawks has a good point "Does possession count while in the air." Considering "a player must maintain possession of the ball even after hitting the ground" (Detroits first game against the Bears last year I believe had this controversial play) I would say no its still a jump ball till the player comes down maintaining possession. (which is why I think it wasn't overturned)
