The game continues to evolve. I think that mobile QBs that are also good pocket QBs are going to be able to be very successful moving forward. I'm not down with how RG3 takes all of the crazy hits dude takes because he's just not big enough. I'm really liking Russell Wilson because he's so smart about it and I don't think he ever really gets smashed. I know he's not big but some guys just have a knack for not really taking big hits most of the time.

Traditionally that mobile style hasn't panned out for too long but I think when you look at guys like Kaepernick and Wilson those guys are already good QBs that make the throws and make them well. Now factor in elusiveness, speed and intelligence and it's pretty exciting.

I'm a NY Giants fan all day but I'm adopting the Seahawks as my secondary team to root for next year.

And on with the evolution thought, it is amazing that all the defenses this year was able to overcome the more famous QBs and just not allow them to make throws to count. Teams with people like Manning, Brady, and Roethlisberger really need to adjust their offensive line to give their QB more time. One reason Kaepernick is so good at throwing is more that he gets more time to throw imo.

Well yeah, I'm pretty sure any NFL QB(even 3rd stringers) can make throws with time but above all, I think the ability to process the field in a micro second is what separates the good from the really good. These intelligent guys are really fun to watch and now it seems like we are getting a few that can get up and get gone when they need to. Hell even Luck can get his ass going, people don't realize that he had the same 40 time as Cam Newton. Next year will be the test for these new guys though and I hope they all pass with flying colors. As a sports fan I love it regardless of who they play for,as long as they stay humble....no Superman shit.

I'm picking the Ravens.

Why? Joe Flacco is an elite QB (just ask him).

Hey, it worked for Eli. Right?

Yes, it did for Eli.

I actually like Flacco's attitude.  I'd rather have a guy like him that thinks that he's the best than a guy that says, "Realistically speaking, I'm about the 12th best quarterback in the league."

^ I agree and I like Flacco too. That being said I think there is an acceptable limit of what a player thinks of himself. See the Randy Moss discussion above, lol.

Joe Flacco doesn't claim to be the greatest QB of all time...

So I am posting my NFL predictions for the final round here. Insomniac is a second class Broncos fan and he will lose due this shortcoming.

I think the San Francisco 49ers will win their 6th Super Bowl tying the Steelers for the most all time.

Ray Lewis is a mudering scumbag.

 the score will be:

49ers 31-and the Ravens 27

Lol, nice prediction. I agree with that part though.

The Ravens have surprised many in the playoffs. Of course, they are only here more due to John Fox's mistakes before over time in the divisional round and due to Peyton throwing an interception late in over time deep in Broncos territory. Still they won and they did beat the Patriots twice.

I predicted San Francisco to win it before the season started so I got go for them. The defense is really talented and Kapernick has been able to beat playoff teams in the divisional game by running and in the conference game by throwing. He is clearly a well rounded quarterback that can beat teams by one or both methods. The team seems pretty solid/.

I did not even realize Ray Lewis committed a crime (in the past 10 years I have been watching football) until somebody brought it up....

How convenient that all these things make themselves known right before the most important game of his life...

I call bullshit.
