tonight is Cincinatti win i'll do the rest later at work :(

The timestamp on your post jumped to the next hour at approximately xx:35 and the game usually starts at around 20:30, so I am afraid that I can't count your pick, unless someone can confirm that TNF started at 20:35 or later yesterday. Rules are rules.

This is the 29th game you missed, so you are still in playoff contention. Including TNF, you are now six and seven games behind hatmoza and arcane_chaos, respectively.

On a related note, Blacksaber missed his 33rd game, so he is now officially eliminated from the playoff race, but his chances were purely mathematical at this point anyway.

Even though games are supposed to start at 8:30 they usually get started 15 minutes late at least. I don't know when exactly the game started but I would give it to him

is there a dead cert this week, maybe houston when i look at them they could all swing in my limtied knowledge, denver are on a good roll but surely can go down at baltimore and the more i look at the dallas game i favour them

I think Indianapolis is considered the underdog partly because they have had an easier schedule than Houston. Though you're right in that anyone can lose any week. The broncos are favorites though I do not consider them great favorites. The reason I think they will win is they have a better defense as Baltimore is not good here as they normally are and the Broncos offense is also better on average. Hell, the broncos will take knees at the end of games they're already winning rather than keeping on scoring when they can. So their offense per game could be ranked even higher if they did not do this.

the so called experts say baltimore is getting old in the defence but they say a lot of rubbish regarding picks, denver winning streak looks so good that it must be ending but i think i'll stick with it,what about the steelers then, dallas alway seem to fold when i pick them at home

A complete tossup in my opinion. Dallas and Pittsburgh have been super inconsistent all year. Steelers were winning without Rothlisburger and than lose with him to San Diego who just cannot seem to get a consistent Phillip Rivers to return to form and stop throwing interceptions. I have barely paid attention to Dallas. Romo just does not seem to be able to do as well as when he first started. They both have a lot to play for, but I predict Dallas because of Pittsburgh's performance last week.

I'm already suffering! I posted it during kick off.

Does anybody know if Ray Lewis is going to play against Denver?

I remember seeing his post and I'm pretty sure the game was already started.

I personally don't mind if you want to grant him this point but it's just unfair to the several other people who were in a similar situation in prior weeks and weren't granted the same 'pity'.

I just hate inconsistencies. Rules are rules.

I'll let you give him a pity victory if you can change my pick from the Eagles to the Bengals.

What was I thinking?

While I am at it, everyone's worst week will be removed from the standings.

Anyway, looks like this incident was settled pretty fast with hatmoza speaking out against it.

I didn't realize I had so much influence power!

err... I also think it's unfair that I missed a lot of the early games. Ban everyone but me from participating in this week's prediction.

There are too many good games happening at 11:00 AM Mountain time.

NYG-ATL Atlanta has less to play for and the useually start being sucky birds late in the year. The Falcons are 0-3 in the playoffs over the course of the last three seasons.

KC-OAK This might still be brutal as it is the battle of the least suckiest in the AFC West.

GB-CHI Looks to be a good competitive game. Rodgers will probably have a porn stache and a thong on.

IND-HOU Finally, Indianapolis really gets tested and the division.

DEN-BAL Broncos are confident going forward, thankfully, the Sherrif keeps them from being too confident. I suspect Manning wants to be a coach when he retires.

SF-NE Patriots are great at home. Not picking them.

Might get more pictures later, all of the Broncos. Probably about 100 of them.

Night games are supposed to start at 8:20, but they usually start at least 10 minutes later. Now shakarak admitted that he posted during kickoff and whether someone is 1, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes late shouldn't matter, you need to pick a winner before a game has started.

As it stands, shakarak's TNF pick doesn't count for this reason. However, if at least a few people want to grant him this pity point (especially hatmoza and arcane_chaos who are most directly affected), then I'll count it (if either hatmoza or arcane_chaos speak out against it, I won't). This offer expires with the final whistle of Week 15's Monday Night Football.

Sunday and Thursday night games start at 8:20, but Monday night games start at 8:30. The Falcons-Lions Saturday night game next week also starts at 8:30.

We'll see about that next week when they face the 49ers...

The Patriots are a horrible mathcup for the 49ers. The 49ers rely on keeping the score low. The second that team falls behind by two touchdowns the game is pretty much over.

Yeah, just like the high powered offenses of the Packers and the Saints were horrible matchups for the 49ers as well...

Are you honestly comparing the Patriots to a bad saints team? The packers were also a mess at the beginning of the year, not to mention the Patriots have a much better running game and run defense than the packers. No a good team to compare them to would be a more consistent giants team, and we all saw what the giants did to the 49ers

The Pats are nothing like the Giants. Their offense is better, but their defense is much worse. They are more like the Packers/Saints, IMO.

Just because the Saints aren't doing so hot now doesn't mean they are bad. When SF when to the dome to play them, they were hot and had won 5 of their previous 6. They were doing well until the 49ers rolled into town.

Two of the Pats 3 losses have come against NFC West opponents, Seattle and Arizona (now riding a 9 game losing streak.) Every team has their bad games including the Pats.
