The packers were also a mess at the beginning of the year, not to mention the Patriots have a much better running game and run defense than the packers. @rol It is a big rivalry and playoff spots are being fought for. People physically fight each other at every Raiders-Broncos game whether it is a competitive game or not, so I can only imagine it is the same between the Packers and Bears.

I don't think many people will argue that the Rams this season are in the same class as the current Niners, though. smbu's point about divisional rivalry is well taken, but for a supposed Super Bowl contender (and I still think they have a shot), losing/tying the Rams twice is not a good sign by any means.
