I hope that this year half the NFL doesn't play against me. And perhaps I don't get burned by Denver all the time.

Interestingly enough, I picked all NFC North teams to win.

You would pick against Denver every week when it is almost certain they will get at least 10 wins this year? Also, you guys make me laugh, on GAF almost everyone thinks and hopes Denver wins because they all love Peyton Manning due to his awesomeness.

Getting burned by Denver doesn't mean that I will pick against them, it means that they'll do the opposite of what I pick. Like in the final week of last year when they couldn't even beat the Chiefs.

Also, Denver plays against Pittsburgh. The Steelers aren't a pushover.

I piked Steelers to win, but now I'm not so sure.

One of Big Ben's weapons has not played much since last season's injury, and the other (Mike Wallace) is a bit rusty from his holdout. Add to the fact that Big Ben holds on to the ball a tad too long and his O-Line allows the sacks, Denver might resurge. Von Miller and Co. may gave him hell.

Also, who knows how inspired the Broncos will be with Peyton Manning now under center. Their herculean efforts to keep Tebow from getting WOMPED don't have to take as long anymore with a legendary pocket passer. Last, and certainly not least, the Broncos WRs.

Eric Decker & Demaryius Thomas will shred the Steelers backfield like they did in the playoffs last year. Great route runners that may put the points on real early.

No, but they have a lot of injuries. Not to mention almost all the points the Broncs scored during the preseason came from Manning. Curse the day Caleb Hanie can destroy both Orange and Blue teams.

The Cheif-Broncos and Raiders Broncos rivalries are so strong that they are very unpredictable as the teams hate each other and the games often comes down to who gets the least penalties.

Final point here, Rol the best games of the week look to be San Francisco-Green Bay and Pittsburgh-Denver. You should watch Denver so for once you can back up your misguided thoughts on the team.

@amp316 and the Rest of the Bears Fans

Although the Bears are much improved, they are still a third place finish in the NFC North this season. No one is going to stop the passing attack of Rodgers. Green Bay has the best receiving corp in the NFL. You don't need defense when scoring 40 pts a game.

Seriously, you think the Lions were a fluke last year??? They have one of the best defensive lines in football. You're not going to beat them on the ground. Calvin Johnson is the best receiver in the game and Stafford threw for 5000 yards last season. If Detroit had anything that resembled a decent secondary they would be a Super Bowl contender. But they don't so they will be 10-6 again this season.

Meanwhile the Bears will get to 9-7 which will be quite an accomplishment considering the 4 losses Green Bay and Detroit will hand them.

I'd like to join.  Don't know why I'm going with San Fran over Green Bay, but I'm just feeling it.  Maybe I'll change that before the deadline.

Watch out guys Al Davis has been spotted again and he is here to fire another head coach and to demand his team out do the Saints and Lions in criminal behavior.

alight Rol, I'll bite

Also, how did you get the table like that? I tried to do the same thing and it turned into a mess

to talk football, I think every team needs to fear are these replacement refs..in this pre-season alone they made more bad/confusing calls than I say an entire regular season.....the NFL couldn't even get college refs, most of them are high school and div-2 college refs or from the LINGERIE football league....O_O!!! that worries me!!!

What exactly do you mean? How you copy-paste a table without messing it up? You don't highlight anything outside of the table, that's how.

As for the referees, what's up with the regular referees anyway? I haven't paid attention to this kind of stuff.

I tried to do the table myself but messed up bigtime.

about the refs, I myself haven't played to close attention myself, but it seems  the refs just want a slight pay raise from what they aleady get, and the NFL is saying no way. Most sports analyst are siding with with refs as it's only a matter of thousands instead of millions like the NFL lockout, and with the NFL being a billion dollar and growing organaization, this shouldn't be a problem.
