damn,i saw the beginning and even though he scored that pittsburgh QB he wasn't roethlisberger so i didn't feel that confident going to sleep, was that known all week that big ben wasn't playing or did it happen on the day

not sure why most of us are against chicago but hope we are right

Had I known Ben was out, I would have went for Baltimore. Guess I missed that injury somewhere.

I'm, of course, rooting for Bears and a 4th place finish this week. But, the stats are against them in this game. It will be a defensive team that creates the win. However, right now I'm sitting at work with my Bears jersey on and ready to scream at my TV tonight.

It will be the only time my WiiU is off today while people are home. :)

I have to give it to the Jags, they came to play and brought it. Schaub and Andre had to carry the team today and both had career games.
I've been saying this since day 1, rivalry games are the toughest games to win no matter what the record is.

Exactly, this is why the Broncos faced one of the toughest versions of this years San Diego team yesterday. The Broncos were never in danger of losing, but Rivers and his gang of twisted scum gave their game of the year effort yesterday. Not enough.

Ben got injured during MNF and didn't return, so he was seriously hurt. There's a reason why that game against the lowly Chiefs went into overtime. I was already close to laugh at the fools who picked Pittsburgh before SNF started, but refrained from it, because it might have led to some people changing their pick. :)

so you didn't do your honourable job as leader of the thread and inform us,your cheating knows no end sir!

You are going to gain a position in the standings for sure this week, because you'll pass arcane_chaos by default.

yeah... my good week would be nicer if it wasn't good week for everyone else too.

If I'm reading the current records for this week AND niners win, I'll actually move up to the top 10. I'm only 1 behind the three above and of course arcane_chaos missing the week.

Personally, I'd rather stay at 13 and see DA BEARS woop that ass.

I am still puzzled that arcane_chaos didn't show up. I thought he knew that the Giants' bye week doesn't equal a bye week for the entirity of the NFL.

Americans...

The better the Broncos record gets  causes me to care less and less about the league and more about the teams position going into the playoffs. I would love for them to have a bye week the first week. In the beginning, I cared more about the league as all teams futures were uncertain, but now I am more interested in how games affect the playoff picture.

Fuck Da Chargers and the rest of the AFC West suck fest.

If you read this Superchunk. How is your Wii U and what games do U have for it? Please buy me one and I will be a bears and bulls fan for life!!!

You may have called me a bandwagoner, but I hereby accuse you of being a whore. Good day to you, sirrah!

Hold the line! At least for a console that can play Mass Effect 3 properly! :P

Anyhow, yesterday morning was certainly a fun and interesting time. I ultimately only dropped one (I think; stupid Rams suck even more than I thought), but until the very end I was in danger of losing everything but the Bengals game. Thank you, Chiefs, for always stinking up the joint.
