Well... if the whole thing was written up with the intent to troll Superchunk, then I guess that I can let it slide.

At least now I know that everyone believes in the Saints. Nobody had an issue with their suggested record (10-6).

Why would they?  No one read the entire thing.

Texans in the SuperBowl? The chances of that are 1 to 1 million.
Matt Schaub is terrible, they have a bad offense going on there. I'm going to say the Giants because every Giants fan knows come playoff time it's Elite Manning time.
The 4 teams that could make the Super Bowl are: 49ers,Giants,Broncos,Patriots.

Houston is actually quite the threat. It is actually a shame they do not get tested more to see if they could handle the playoffs. Their style does not require Schaub to be increadible just consistant. Arian Foster and the D do more than enough to make this team unique and good. Da Bears finally can show if the are really as good as their record shows.

Ummmm....No..Just no that Texans are going nowhere with Schaub.Arian Foster is not the best RB in the league the best RB at the moment IMO would be Ahmad Bradshaw. Come playoff time if the Texans even make the playoffs they will be EXPOSED for the crub team they are. Just like the Falcons I can't believe they are 8-0 they haven't even faced any true Elite teams yet.

lol, the Texans are in a weak division, much like the Falcons they have an easy walk to the playoffs compared to the San Francisco 49ers.

Point here is that, the Bears have a worse defense, an inferior game manager and a used up running back. The Texans are young and talented and only have their mild, mannered, quit fans to support Jay Cutler in the upcoming game. Fans that often bo him. This game will solidify either team as a favorite and Cutler just does not seem to cut it as a quarterback.

@ Shak Yeah, i WOULD NOT HAVE POIUNTED OUT the list so readily if he was not doing so well. Peyton also has been talking way less sacks than I got a bull's eyes on my head to help you sack Rodgers. Feels Good.

What in the world are you posting Loco?  The Bears have a bad defense? Inferior game manager? Used up running back?  Bears fans boo Cutler?  WHat planet are you on?

The Texans only played one decent team this year and got blown out.

I have to agree here. I am currently favoring the Bears over the Texans in this week's game.

The only reason why chocoloco thinks so highly of the Texans is because they beat the Broncos. Remember, a team needs to be amazing to beat a Broncos team that turns the ball over 3-5 times.

No, I saw Huston play a lot and know they can be impressive. I did expect a Texans win. Your logic makes no sense because if I defended teams that beat the Broncos I would defend New England, and the Falcons as well. They can suck horse balls. Houston is a legit team more than the Patriots who lose to the Seahawks, Cardinals and their favorite Ravens. They are by no means the biggest threat.

Rodgers was pissed after losing to the Colts. They felt they had to make a statement after embarrasing themselve for most of the year.

I'm ok with any change that happens BEFORE the start of a game.

Okay, okay... I confess.

I wrote the entire thing to troll superchunk. I already had the resulting records in mind before compiling the schedules, so I had to make some tweaks here and there to arrive at the desired result. I couldn't make it all out Packers domination either, otherwise superchunk would have immediately noticed what's up.

Figured as much. When will I learn to never trust people with Kim Possible avatars?

I agree with this (unless somebody wants to change to the same result somebody else has picked already), although my main concern is that this could lead to some problems once we get closer to the end of the season and people start to fight more over positions and the playoff seeding. But then again, people are free to submit their predictions via PM, so they won't be entered into the spreadsheet until after any given game has already started.

Since I can see these PMs, I have to make it a point that I won't make such late changes to my predictions anymore, regardless of what comes out of this discussion.

No PMs. I think we ALL need to be able to see it

We blew away the Ravens and beat the Broncos at there house. 2 good teams.

We only got blown out b/c we gave up 2 TDs and dumb penalties. We also lost Brian Cushing, our defensive captain the week before and didn't adjust well in the game.

Our defense will get through the Bears weakass O line and pressure Cutler to make mistakes. Watch out for JJ MegaWatt.
