3 things you need to do.

1. get a webcam with at least 720p. Its 2012 and they are cheap as hell now.

2. while closing the window is a good idea to block out sound, buy some blinds to control the lighting.
(white skin + bright lighting + white background = unappealing to the eyes)

3. Get a decent microphone if you are going to talk constantly.

I am guessing that you are probably using imovie. Play around with all the widgets and crap to get used to it.
Have fun, and your annotations to make us like, comment, and sub completely blocked us from seeing your cat.
