I can list dozens of games the PS2 and Xbox received that the GC did not.

Go on then.  You got me with MGS2 - I did not know that.  Grand Theft Auto would also be another one, so there's two for you.

I'll get working on my list of third-party games which the Gamecube and PS2, or just GC alone, got.

Seriously, though, I can understand the point you're making but to say Gamecube didn't get third-party support isn't something I agree with.  Generally (although not 100%), it received same-quality versions of multiple big franchises at the time, the support just dried up after a while when third-parties realised they weren't selling well enough.  The support was there to begin with, apart from a few exceptions.

I can name a few off the top of my head as well:

Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2

Euro 2004 Football

The Project Zero/Fatal Frame games (a bit ironic considering Nintendo now co-owns the series)

Pychonauts

Dead or Alive (The PS2 and Xbox each got games, but I'm not sure if they were the same)

Black

Brothers in Arms

Around the Network

It's getting really frustrating to have so little information about the Wii U considering it's gonna be released in less than 4 months. I was really happy to know that Bioshock Infinite was confirmed for it, and in the end it's just a rumour.

I'll be very happy if this turns out to be true. It'd make my decision to get rid of my PS3 all the more straightforward.

Yep, I'd agree all of them, except Dead or Alive.  DoA2 was DC only them ported to PS2, then after that the series became Xbox only.  It was never really a multi-plat series again until recently, with DoA5.

I'd counter you with - Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure 2, Skies of Arcadia, Phantasy Star Online, Resident Evil 4, Code Veronica X, Viewtiful Joe, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.  I mean, that's nearly solely a Sega/Capcom list but it's stuff that either stayed on GC, wasn't on Xbox or wasn't on PS2.

But you know, of that list you posted, none of those games were published by companies who seemed "anti-Nintendo", it was just for whatever reason they weren't deemed to be financially viable on the Gamecube.  Brothers in Arms didn't make it over, but Ubisoft still gave GC nearly everything else - Prince of Persia, Beyond Good & Evil, Rayman, Rainbow 6 etc.

I mean heck, Battlefront 1 & 2 didn't make it to the GC, but LucasArts brought over Star Wars: Jedi Outcast, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter from PC & PS2 respectively, and then they made Rogue Squadron II & III exclusive to the system.  They might not have gotten all the third-party support, but they got plenty of good stuff.

Same with Black - EA decided not to bring it over for whatever reason, but they still released Timesplitters 3, Burnout 1 & 2, all The Sims games, etc.

I get that the support wasn't perfect, but 90% of the stuff that needed to be there was there.

I'll jump on this tomorrow.   I'm currently takling a 15 minute break from Xenoblade Chronicles with my son to stretch our limbs out and check on updates.  I've compiled a list similar to this before.  But I'd also like to note that advertising was also larger for the Xbox editions of mulit-platform games (whether that was MS' doing or the publisher, I'm not sure) but that is unfortunately not something easily quantified like the game list.

Feel free to give me a list of any more stuff you feel like, but just have a look at my other reply before going too nuts.  Again, I'm not saying the Gamecube wasn't missing some important third-party titles, but on the whole it got represented by all the major publishers for 90% of the big titles.

Also, that was Microsoft's doing - do you not still see it now for the bigger games this generation?  They'll have a big Xbox logo at the end and the PS3 logo will be shoved into the bottom corner.  That doesn't mean that these games aren't released for the PS3, though.
