The WWE franchise won’t be coming to Wii U this year. Creative director Cory Ledesma gave a simple “no” when asked if WWE ’13 is in development for Nintendo’s new console. Same goes for the PC and Vita.

That leaves WWE ’13 on three platforms this year. You can purchase the game for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii on October 30.

Sometimes people make no sense.

I was hoping to get it for the 3DS or Vita. My only options are to get the arcadey WWE All Stars for the 3DS or get the PSP version of one of the older Smackdown games. I don't think I'm going to go for the console version this year unless I hear something really good about it.

It focuses on Attitude era! Classic versions on long time wrestlers will be in included!

Really disappointed with this news. Wanted a copy for my Vita to play when I'm out and about.

I couldn't care eitherway. They game has been going downhill for a while now.

I remember skipping school to play the game on the first day of release......and Dad decided to come back early from work to catch me skipping school to play the game and I was like OMFG JESUS SAVE ME!!!

I thought 2010 and 2011 were great games. WWE 12 added some stuff but took a lot of things away. The online was broken, too. It had a great roster, though. Pisses me off that I've had the game for almost a year and I still can't download created wrestlers and stuff. I don't know if I'll ever buy another WWE game as long as THQ is in charge--unless it's a portable version. Guess I'll just man up and buy the old PSP game and play it on my Vita.
