To be taken seriously China must do several things.

1. Stop mistreating it's own people.
2. Stop protecting nations that mistreat their people.
3. Send as much aid around the world as the USA.
4. Stop artificially deflating the Yuan to appear economically stronger than it is.
5. Pass labor laws and outlaw child labor.
6. Stop bullying it's neighbor nations and laying claim to nearby independent sovereign nations.
7. Stop pumping pollutants into the air and dumping waste into the ocean.
8. Stop arresting political protesters.
9. Build a healthy tourism program.
10. Have as many or more nukes than the other super powers.

That last one is pretty important.

While I have no problem with the USA or China, please be consistent:

1. The USA has mistreated its own people, see Waco for example.

2. Like the USA and Saudi Arabia?

3. China is the biggest investor in sub-saharan Africa, helping build the economy of this massive area.

4. The USA is currently devaluing the Dollar to prop up the economy.

5. While not officially sanctioned, a large part of the US' economy is based on cheap illegal immigrant labor.

6. Hawaii, Panama, Venuzeula, Grenada...

7. The USA continues to be the biggest greenhouse gas emitter.

8. The USA calls them terrorists.

9. China has excellent tourism.

10. Is there any point having enough nukes to destroy the Earth more than once?

Context my friend. Your criticism of the USA lacks context. The problem with your assessment is it assumes the USA is mostly bad. I believe the USA is mostly good. Not perfect or without mistakes, just trying to be.

As for nukes. I hate that they exist, but since they do there is a very important purpose to responsible peaceful and liberty loving countries keeping them. The USA maintains a large arsenal of nuclear arms as a deterrent that protects not just the USA but the whole world from nations like Iran that would like nothing more than to blow a huge hole in Israel for no other reason than a hate that goes back so many generations you have to refer to holy texts to understand it. Iran, or any nation with a crazy tyrannical leader, knows that if they launched an attack, before it even landed, they would be nuked beyond rubble. With world super powers it acts as another kind of deterrent. Mutual assured destruction. It worked during the cold war and it still works.

By context do you mean excuses? If one looks with an unbiased viewpoint, it's clear that the USA operates to benefit US interests. I'm not making any assumptions about the USA, everything I noted is true and making excuses for them doesn't make them not bad things.

It is also well known that China has been a nuclear power for decades and while they haven't gone to the extremes of the USA/USSR, it would be naive to assume that China hasn't got the arsenal to deal with external threats.

Unbiased viewpoint? Are you refering to yourself? Hmm...

Most of the points cannot be taken to seriously tbh, and only americans could create such as list when they are not too different from the Chinese.

2- what about USA and Arabia S or Israel

4- exactly what you are doing with the dollar

7- haha, good one.

- the US is not too different & being a superpower nowdays it doesnt have anything to do with what you listed.

What does America, Religion, and Meat have in common? Those who hate these will hijack conversations and twist them into insufferably negative mudslinging tirades with no regard for anyone else's viewpoint.

I had forgotten this truth and mistakenly posted an innocent comment. Lesson learned, I'm going back to the video game side of this forum were at least the fanboys only hate meaningless piece of plastic.

As we say in America, have a nice day.

Criticism is not hate. Counterpoint isn't mudslinging.

they only need to ask the US to pay their debt

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
