Some of the things to look out for (at least on the gaming side):
Guidance numbers for the PS3, Vita/PSP (probably going to be combined as one for a while)
PS3 redesign and future ps3 pricing
Possible changes in Vita pricing
Any hint of future generation console
For the company as a whole
- How far along are they in their company restructuring (job cuts).
- Where their increases in sales are coming from
- Cell phone shipments (how they are faring in the cell phone wars with Samsung and Apple)
- TV shipments, TV pricing
- Any change in guidance for the remainder of the year
My take
- With the earthquake and flooding of last year, Sony could have easier comparsions this year becuase those two events are kinda once in a lifetime
- Maintain yearly profitability targets
- possible raising of PS3 shipments
- no change in vita/psp shipments
- Might do a drastic Nintendo move (like they did last year in the 3DS 6th month) but not counting on it
- No mention of PS4, may give small hints that its coming late next year
- talk about their movie portfolio being stock this yea and for the future months with Skyfall
