According to an anonymous source who wrote to ZI, Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS will be called ‘Super Smash Bros. Memories.’ Nintendo confirmed that both Super Smash Bros. games – for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS - will not be identical, and the source claims that he or she knows the main difference between the two.
According to the rumor, Wii U’s Super Smash Bros. will focus on modern characters while ‘Super Smash Bros. Memories’ will star retro characters including Donkey Kong Jr., Ridley, Pac-Man, Takamaru, Mach Rider, Dig-Dug, and Stanley the Bug Man. The source also claims that Nintendo 3DS’s Super Smash Bros. title will be released holiday 2013.
This rumor is most likely false, but I like the idea - include there retro-mario and link and there, two selling faces.

When I read about it in Nintendo Power and then tried it I freaked the frak out. I loved that song but ever since then it was never the same.

Here's the explanation for why it sounds like that (barely) when inverted:
There were some issues over Ashley's English theme. If the record is spun fast enough in the Turntable souvenir during the first solo, it would come out with the words "I have granted kids to Hell!" However, Nintendo and Nintendo Power both stated that it was an accident and the words come out like that due to it meshing pieces of the song together. The real words are as the following:

These words form a sentence like "Eye of grand this kitt soo pan", which is misheard as "I have granted kids to hell."

I don't think Nintendo has any part with the Devil yet. I mean, everybody knows that Pokémon is evil, but everything else is safe
Weird Smash bros Universe seems like the obvious choice. The different characters between the two seems cool but I doubt it would work. It suppose to be able to work between the two mediums in online matches so they have to have the same roster.
