I thought Summoner, and Arcanist would be it for launch day but, Scholar too is a nice surprise.

when has their ever been a game that is not free to play on the PS3? 

I preorder the PS3 CE mainly just for the goods. If its not F2P then oh wells as I'm not big on MMO but I would definitely like to try this out. If it was F2P with a PS Plus account then that I can do.

Have no fear! You get a 30 day free trial, and CE players can play early before official launch. If you don't like the contents by then you can deactivate with no charge done.

I have always wanted to like final fantasy and understand it but i do not. It is to different compred to what i play, the only games i won that could be similar to this would be soul calibur 4 and 5 (design and style i mean not gameplay)

Every Final Fantasy title is different from each other. They share the same name but, they have different stories, and characters except for direct sequels or prequels. Those new to the franchise may find it difficult to understand, but its the story and the adventure that matters to the fans.

That helps me sort of understand but when i start seeing giant chicken raptors, wizards, flying gunships, dragons and exploding skies i can't understand or sink into the idea of the game... to be honest though it looked wicked cool. I hope a final fantasy fans enjoy this game :)

It does look that way, but its not fully optimized, and two more Beta phases to go. The latest post in the beta forum mention that they're pushing for 30fps at 720p for PS3.

Frustrating... I got into the beta when it first released but not a word since then. Got time on my hands right now and am soooo curious as to how this plays on Ps3.
