Colors and Generations were good games, I'm hoping for Adventures 3 to be a great game instead.

Agree. Adventure/Adventure 2 Eggman got the character just right, imo. His silliness just came from his hamminess in those games, but he was still competent and a legitimate threat.

Never liked SA1 but SA2 was one of my favourite games on gamecube so I hope this is true

They haven't mastered the camera, but hopefully this game will change that, they've definitely learned somewhat in recent years. Theres something about sonic A1/2 which simply hasn't be replicated in the 2D games IMO. The music, the interaction between the charcters (albeit very cheesy), the world (chao world!!!), the sense of adventure.

Hopefully sega will continue the 2D games via digital releases, appealing to the old generation and try to successfully create a fully 3D sonic game for the fans of Adventure 1/2 and in attempt to grab a new audience because I don't feel like the 2D games will do that.

you're right, but IMHO i love the 2d/3d hybrid of colors and generations i feel they nailed that formula, but who knows I loved Heroes(the unofficial SA3 to me.) I hope they go that path, just SOnic and SOME of his friends running around in 3d environments, no difusing bombs, no scavenger hunts, no horrible 3rd person shooter segments, none of that shit. Keep the chao garden as that was the only reason i kept playing SA2. But after 06 i just dont know

I also agree. This topic is debately relentless on SEGA forums. Some people claim that Unleashed onward is the best Best Eggman. No way.
